Terms & Conditions – Blueline Transporters and Movers

1. General

  • These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Blueline Transporters and Movers (“the Company”).
  • By engaging our services, the Client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Services

  • Our services include local relocation, East Africa relocation, storage, disposal, and road transport.
  • Specific service details, including timelines and pricing, will be confirmed in a written quotation or agreement.

3. Quotations & Payments

  • All quotations are based on information provided by the Client.
  • Any changes (extra items, different destination, additional services) may result in revised charges.
  • Payments must be made as agreed before or upon completion of services.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • The Client is responsible for proper disclosure of items to be moved (e.g., fragile, high-value, or hazardous goods).
  • The Client must ensure accessibility at collection and delivery points.
  • The Client should arrange for any permits, approvals, or building access required.

5. Packing & Special Items

  • Blueline will pack and handle goods with care, but fragile items such as computers, electronics, and glassware should be disclosed in advance for special handling.
  • We will not be liable for damage to items packed by the Client unless proven to be due to our negligence.

6. Insurance

  • Insurance is available upon request at an additional cost.
  • Without insurance, liability is limited to cases of proven negligence by Blueline.

7. Storage

  • Storage services are provided at agreed rates and subject to availability.
  • Clients must settle storage fees promptly to avoid penalties or disposal of goods.

8. Delays & Force Majeure

  • While we strive for timely service, Blueline will not be held responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, roadblocks, customs processes, or events beyond our control.

9. Disposal Services

  • Disposal of unwanted items is carried out responsibly. Once collected, items are deemed surrendered, and Blueline assumes full disposal rights.

10. Tracking & Updates

  • Clients will receive regular updates and, where applicable, tracking details of their relocation or transport.

11. Discounts & Promotions

  • Discounts or promotional offers are subject to terms stated in the promotion and cannot be combined unless expressly agreed.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Blueline will take all reasonable measures to ensure the safety of goods.
  • However, we are not liable for losses or damages arising from:
    • Improper packing by the Client
    • Inherent defects in goods
    • Cash, jewelry, documents, or perishable items not disclosed prior to the move

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved amicably, failing which they will be subject to the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
